You can use Kombucha Vinegar as a hair rinse. Vinegars work to cut through product buildup on hair and strip the hair of product residues, all while conditioning the hair. The acidity acts to smooth down the cuticles or ‘scales’ of the hair to lie flat – giving hair that shiny silky look. When using Kombucha Vinegar for the first time, dilute it half and half (1:1 ratio) with water. If you feel a stinging sensation from the diluted rinse, stick to this dilution ratio as you do not want to cause any irritation to the scalp with too strong a rinse. If, however, you feel that it could be stronger, try a less diluted solution next time, or simply straight Kombucha Vinegar.
